Wasted Brass
I was looking forward to using this on a bathroom cabinet I'm making. However, the machining is very poor quality and the key fails to engage the locking mechanism. The protruding bolt that's supposed to slide in and out is also askew, so it's wasted brass, from both my pocket's perspective and the lock's.
It's a shame as there's very few *solid* brass miniature locks on eBay. Perhaps it was just a bad batch.

Not quite as nice as it looks
Slightly disappointed as it arrived with corners bent and dog-eared. For those under the impression this is a hardback, it's not, it's a flexible, soft cover. The peacock image is also not as vivid as I expected, with the gold embossing being rather lacklustre.
