Not for everybody, but if you want something challenging this is for you.
Unlike other shows, The Wire is not about a heroe, it's about a city, its inhabitants, problems and glory (or lack of it).
The show can only be compared to the greatest drama tv shows ever made, like The Sopranos, Six Feet Under and a few others. The show's value is not on the entertainment factor (which is present), but on the caracters, the acting the accurate representation of what life was like on Baltimore City during the 90s.
If you are considering buying this product but not sure if it's right for you, let me try and clear your doubt. There is a consensus that the show is amazing, but if you're looking for easy entertainment after working all day, this might not be for you.
