InterestsThe Thing About Feedback
I always strive to give the best service possible but occasionally things do go wrong, I am only human after all. So PLEASE, do contact me if anything is not right from your point of view before giving negative or neutral feedback. Most problems can be easily and amicably resolved with a little give and take on both sides.
I always give feeback as soon as possible after a transaction is complete but shy away from giving negative feedback and always try to resolve any problems by talking to the other party first.
Business InformationHistory/background
I started selling things on eBay simply to clear some space in wardrobes and cupboards. You know how it is, there's always a lot of stuff lying around that just isn't used anymore.
Then I gave up my riding school and transferred my 23 horses to other establishments in the area who all provided their own tack but kept the saddles. As I have, hoarder that I am, never thrown anything away I find myself with literally hundreds of bridles to sell. I still have horses, albeit only 5, and am still a compulsive tack buyer so there will be a steady supply of good quality bridles for months to come.
Payment policy
I prefer PayPal but accept cheques, postal orders, etc.
Please send your payment within 2 days of auction ending (if you use PayPal) or let me know how you will otherwise be paying. Non payers or buyers who remain incommunicado will be reported to eBay 10 days after the auction has ended.
Delivery information
Items will be despatched as soon as funds have cleared, usually on the next working day. I always combine postage if you win more than one item. I do NOT make a profit on the p&p charges but only add a small amount to the postage fee to cover the packaging materials and the time and fuel it takes to make the, sometimes daily, 18 miles round trip to the nearest post office. Some people seem to assume that my charges are excessive but, unlike many other sellers, I often take parcels to the post office the same day the payment has cleared. Collection in person at a pre-arranged time is ALWAYS welcome!
FOREIGN BUYERS MUST ENQUIRE ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES FOR THEIR COUNTRY BEFORE PLACING A BID. THE CHARGES LISTED ARE FOR WITHIN THE UK ONLY.
Return policy
I only accept returns in exceptional circumstances, so please ask questions and request further information, measurements or pictures before you bid.
Should you still feel you have a genuine grievance, please contact me and I will do my best to resolve the problem to everyone's satisfaction.
If I agree to a return, the buyer must cover the cost and I will refund the full purchase price (inc. P&P charged) but minus any eBay fees.
Returns which have been shoddily re-packaged, damaged, soiled or otherwise ill treated will not be accepted.

Postal Delays/Damage in Post/Lost in Post
I cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the Royal Mail and I will not issue refunds as a result of industrial action or other delays not caused by myself.
If there is a problem getting your parcel to the post office on time, such as illness or vehicle breakdowns, I will inform you right away. I cannot be held responsible for items damaged or lost in the post. Every item I mail out is carefully packaged in padded envelopes or boxes. I always obtain proof of postage and am only too willing to pass a copy of the receipt to a buyer whose parcel appears to have gone missing so she or he can persue a claim with the post office.
Dos and Don'ts before bidding
Please do ask questions, request measurements, photos or more details on quality, condition, etc. of the item. I do my very best to describe items as acurately as possible but, sometimes, things do get overlooked. What is important to one person might not be important to another - so please ask. I welcome any enquiry, no matter how trivial and will reply as quickly and honestly as I can. Would foreign buyers PLEASE request a quote for shipping to their country before bidding. This will avoid nasty surprises when the invoice comes.
Don't bid for fun or bid and then don't pay. It is not fair on the seller and it's also unfair on other people who have placed bids and who would dearly have liked to purchase the item. Don't bid if you are not sure whether you really like the item and don't bid if you cannot afford to pay for it.
