About Ebay
I love selling and buying through Ebay. The experience can be great for all but the frustration that arises from poor buyers seems to be increasing. I tend to package the items and have them ready so that as soon as you have paid they generally go out the same day. How many times do I get a last minute bidder who then takes a week to pay. Polite reminders go out and still no communication. When it comes to feedback I feel that i have suffered with this new rating system from ebay because it looks like I am chasing payment, where my listing states payment / contact MUST be made within 3 days. Foreign bidders NEVER read the listings either. I do not like to post abroad but will consider if you ask me prior to the end of the auction. I would never just expect an ebayer to do something that i have not asked for against their listing instructions without some form of contact first.
Anyway enough of my moaning, I cannot complain because Ebay has been such a great experince for me.
Business InformationPayment policy
I only accept postal orders and paypal payments. Sorry but I have had a couple of cheques that i have received that have bounced or buyers not reading the listings and getting abusive when i politely return their cheques. I do not want my feedback to suffer because people do not read the listings carefully.
I truely do my best to be clear with my descriptions and requirements.
Delivery information
I generally post the same day your payment is received. Sometimes I might wait an additional day if i am waiting on a qauntity of payments to come in and I am sure you all appreciate the time and effort running back and forth to the PO.
I an now taking the stand that if you do not pay for three days or more and do not communicate with me then I should do the same in postage. Why provide you with a service that you cannot do the same for me.
I truely enjoy the ebay experience but waiting for payment is hugely frustrating as i try and turn all sales around within 24 hours. My feedback will confirm the time and speed of my efforts.
Again enough of my moanong.
Return policy
Speak to me, I might be able to help resolve an issue before leaving negative or neutral feedback. At some stage we are all going to make an error be it yours or mine. I am a genuine ebayer that is looking to continue the postive side of ebay for a good time yet and I am approachable when dealt with politely. Be rude, aggressive or demanding does not get you anywhere.
