Not a filter
I recently purchased these cheap universal timescale water filter cartridges.
In a nutshell, after the water had eventually passed through (up to 5 minutes) they had filtered nothing.
In fact, the water filter was basically a poor fitting plug.
Trust me, go and buy the originals. They might cost a few quid more but in the long run you'll save money, time and frustration.
