All About MeWhat everyone should know about me
Karing was born from an idea by two doctors in 1978 who saw a gap in care provision for frail elderly and sick patients of the surgery. It has grown from around a dozen patients on the Karing data base to almost 800.

BLUE SHIELD AWARD 2008
In 2008 KARING was nominated and won the Gold Individual Award for contributions made to Community Health and Social Care within Torbay, Devon. It's wonderful that we should win such an award in our 30th Anniversary Year confirming the appreciation of the local community. So Congratulations and Thanks to all the Volunteers and Supporters of KARING for a job well done!
