All About MeWhat everyone should know about me
I am a designer and textile artist, author of quilting/sashiko books and I teach creative textile workshops. I used to live in Japan, where I learned how to sew kimono at my neighbours shop.
Things I sell
I HAVE CLOSED MY EBAY SHOP. IT SEEMS I HAD NOT INCLUDED MY ADDRESS EVERYWHERE EBAY REQUIRED IT,
SO THEY CLOSED ALL MY LISTINGS WITHOUT WARNING. I THOUGHT I HAD GOT MY ADDRESS EVERYWHERE THEY NEEDED IT,
BUT THE RULES ON EBAY KEEP CHANGING SO FAST & OBVIOUSLY I HADN'T KEPT UP! I AM REALLY NOT PREPARED TO SHELL OUT ANOTHER PILE OF MONEY IN EBAY FEES TO SET THEM ALL UP AGAIN,
ESPECIALLY AS THEY WILL BE ENFORCING FREE SHIPPING AS A FIRST OPTION ON BOOKS SOON (THE POST OFFICE DON'T DO IT FREE!) IF YOU WANT MY BOOKS ETC. CHECK OUT MY OWN WEBSITE WWW.SUSANBRISCOE.CO.UK (ALL LOWER CASE OF COURSE). THANKS!

Business InformationHistory/background
I design, teach and write books on patchwork, sashiko and quilting. In the mid 1990s, I produced needlepoint kits and patterns on Japanese & British themes (I will be selling these off, as I am no longer producing new kits). I trained as a treatre costume designer as part of my degree and made bespoke costumes for participants at Victorian festivals in the UK - many of my costumes have won awards.

Delivery information
Please remember, P & P isn't just the price you see on the stamp - it has to include the cost of packaging materials and the drive to the local post office! For larger items I try to reuse/recycle postage boxes. Books and smaller soft items are sent in NEW packaging i.e. Jiffy bag or similar. Postage costs are based on the Royal Mail website as I send via the Royal Mail, taking the total weight of the package. I'm not sure how anyone could have been dissatisfied with P & p charges. More often, I end up paying more than anticipated than less!
