I am a retired nurse from Houston living in the Beautiful TEXAS HILL COUNTRY West of Austin. I enjoy all the Nature/Wildlife/Clear Skies,Bright Stars and life & PEACE of the country and LOVE selling vintage lingerie. Make you HAPPY you came!

Vintage Lingerie and occasionally a few other things, but I LOVE selling the pretty gowns and slips. I get SO EXCITED when I find pretty pieces from the past. NOT for myself, but just to be able to make photos of them, and offer them to other people who may not have the opportunity to find them in any place other than eBay. I feel that the description should be so good, that potential buyers will feel that they are holding it in their hands and KNOW the magic that can be felt when touching and wearing one of these special pieces from a byegone era. I spend a LOT of time trying to get it right and I want it to SHOW.

Vintage Lingerie. AND, WHATEVER IS ON THE SHELVES AT WALMART. Can't stay away from Estate Sales, and have WAY too much and I'm TRYING to stop. Always searching for 50's Vanity Fair Panties, but they are SO HARD to find, and people/collectors L-O-V-E EM'

Cookbooks. I don't use them, I just read them. I usually just refer to the Cookbook in my Head. Mexican & Native American Folk Art

My Mother was born in 1916 and lived through the Great Depression. As of Feb. 4th, 2012, we STILL have her. Having been frugal, out of necessity for much of her life, I feel that her outlook on the economy and our Government, had a great effect on me and my siblings. Thankfully, none of us have had to suffer through serious hardship, the reason for that is probably from a LIFE LESSON that was OBSERVED, .......NOT TAUGHT. Ever heard.... GOD HELPS THOSE WHO HELP THEMSELVES? Approach every task, every problem with the thought in mind, that you can do it. If you can't do it to the best of your ability, THEN DON'T DO IT. I believe you can DO ANYTHING ONCE. The job of a grandparent, is to make sure that they teach their grandchildren, all the things, the values and feelings that they missed with their parents. Each generation should IMPROVE at least a LITTLE. LIFE DOSN'T COME WRAPPED IN A BOX, ......BUT, IT'S STILL A GIFT.

I was born in Mississippi, but got to Texas as FAST AS I COULD! I should have been born here. Texas is A STATE OF MIND. I have one child, a daughter, and she has Simon age 8 and Chloe,10 and they are my Heart! As a nurse, I did Home Health, working with adults with ALS, (Lou Gehrigs) on ventilators, then with children, with neuromuscular diseases, also on ventilators. This One on One suited me well, and though they coudn't speak, they told me in many ways, that I Made a Difference. Isn't that what it's all about? We bought property in the country West of Austin, Tx. in 1994 when newly married. My very talented Ex Marine, Ex Houston Firefighter, husband is a fantastic woodworker and has built our spacious home of our own design. A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT (The land, NOT the house) Living here brings me total peace. With no light pollution we are able to sit outside and enjoy the skies at night and we are just SO very lucky to be where we are. We live quietly. I'm a Happy Woman.

I ship the Next day after receipt of payment unless occasional computer problems interfere with the Internet. I wrap lingerie in tissue and ship in poly envelopes and have had good luck with this and no complaints. It keeps shipping as low as possible, HOWEVER, IF a box is preferred, the buyer may certainly request one, and I will find a suitable box, weigh the item, then email the buyer with the new postage amount. I always send the buyer a notice on the day it is shipped, telling them that it is on it's way.

I try to describe items accurately, telling of any flaw, stains, picks, pulls, or anything I feel should be made known. It MUST be kept in mind that pre-owned items are NOT going to look new. Those items can be found at Macy's and Dillards. People love vintage lingerie because of it's class and style and I will NEVER list ANYTHING that is worn out. IF HOWEVER, a Significant flaw is noted upon receipt, I want the buyer to notify me PROMPTLY, as it would be PURELY UN-INTENTIONAL and ACCIDENTAL. I will do whatever is required to resolve any issue.

Cold feet. Must have socks in the winter. Rude people, especially drivers in Houston. Non-productive AND able-bodied people who take any kind of hand-out available, without FIRST, trying to make it on their own and working to get what they NEED. Those who bring New Lives(babies) into the world when they can't take care of them adequately. (10/23/10) NOW, I KNOW,WHY MY FEET ARE COLD!!! IT'S CALLED RSD OR CRPS (REFLEX SYMPATHETIC DYSTROPHY) OR THE LATTER, COMPLEX REGIONAL PAIN SYNDROME). THAT'S WHY SOME DAYS MY FEET HURT ME SO BADLY THAT I CAN'T STAND TO MAKE THE MANY PHOTOS OF THESE PRETTY THINGS I SELL. THEN.......THERE ARE THE BETTER DAYS. TRYING DIFFERENT MEDS, NEW DOCTORS, M-O-R-E- CORTIZONE AND M-O-R-E- INJECTIONS. IT WON'T KILL ME, BUT IT SURELY DOESN'T MAKE ME HAPPY!
