After 10 years experience in retail buying and merchandising I started THE FURNITURE FACTORY OUTLET in 2005 with predominantly Christian Harold 'slight second' product. Have now expanded into other areas such as white painted furniture, mirrored venetian furniture, as well as oak, beech, ash, birch, sheesham and other woods from many other suppliers. Speciality is high quality solid oak direct from the factory in Europe. The factories I use, also manufacture for the likes of Laura Ashley, House of Fraser etc and use strictly managed forests. Buying direct cuts out a tier of costs and you don't have to pay an extra 50% because of a 'brand' name. More and more I seem to be helping out people who have been let down by large retailers and showrooms, who have ridiculous lead times. Overheads are low which is why prices are so much cheaper. No huge teams of staff, fancy showrooms or fleets of vans here ! Don't claim to be the cheapest, but you won't get product OF THIS QUALITY for less

collection or delivery. generally mainland UK only. dedicated local courier company (3 years of working together). next working day (usually Amtrak). various charges depending on size/delicacy of item and delivery address.

statutory rights on faulty goods. distance selling regulations on all other goods. i.e. within 7 days of receipt (assuming still in same condition and with original packaging) return delivery cost paid for by the customer.
