Bo Burnham Album Review
1 of 1 found this helpful Unfortunately you can't get hold of this album outside of the US for love nor money, which is a huge shame as he's wise beyond his years for someone so young, which is why I resorted to buying off ebay, and every time you listen to the album you pick up on yet more of his eloquently woven jokes that you may have missed (or not understood) the last time around.
The album consists of a CD and DVD. The CD contains 13 tracks, 3/4's of which or live recording from one of his shows. The remainder are misc tracks from his youtube account (http://www.youtube.com/user/boburnham) which have been professionally re-recorded. The DVD is region free, and contains his live Comedy Central performance of approx 6 tracks which have had some of the lyrics changed to make them acceptable for public broadcast and though none of the swear words are bleeped they have bleeped the words 'tossing' and 'holocaust', from the 'Love Is...' track. While these difference are noticeable they don't distract from the overall enjoyment of the show. Also included on the DVD is the video to 'High School Party', his live improv theatre gig (3 tracks) and all of his youtube content (at time of publishing).
If you're a fan of Stephen Lynch or Jonathan Coulton you must get this album.
