Hi, I'm John Sawyer, CEO. My mom is thetrendywoman, queen of our business, and I am her prime minister. I do the techie side of things, while she finds specials. Our pic, btw, is of Hayley Westenra, a New Zealand singer with a nightingale's voice.

We sell primarily women's higher-end fashions, tending but not keeping ourselves to the smaller sizes of fashions. We also offer books, video games, and anything else we feel members of the eBay community would like to purchase. They, in turn, have blessed us with a red star and great compliments. We're honored.

My mom buys little; I buy baseball cards, stamps, music, books, and whatever other things I might like or need. Basically, I run the gamut on purchasing.

Said baseball cards, music, stamps, books... I have gotten out of coins and probably will cut back on baseball cards.

I am John Marshall (Lt. Commander Data) Sawyer, born 17 March 1973, 1936 hrs., Memorial Hospital, Charlotte, NC. Have lived in Charlotte (current), Triangle, and Matthews, NC. I hope to move to Canada sometime soon and run thetrendywoman from there.

I conceived thetrendywoman in 2004 and am the digital and business brains behind it. We opened 21 March 2005 and are operating full-time.

We accept PayPal, money orders, cashier's checks, and personal checks (subject to clearance if US, must clear if foreign or in foreign currency). Any other form of payment would need our approval, and we are careful about following eBay's rules on what is and isn't kosher in that regard.

We ship by USPS, with other services available upon request. Our fees for shipping include delivery confirmation on mailed articles, and we do not charge extra for handling. Insurance is strongly suggested, but not required unless so stated in the item's description.

We accept returns for refund/exchange/credit if the item is returned (postmarked for that purpose) within 3 days of receipt; and is the wrong item, was materially misadvertised, or was damaged through our fault. We can't assume responsibility for damages caused by the USPS (thus, our suggestion about insurance).
