No more waiting for GP - DIY syringing that works!
2 of 2 found this helpful This product is a great- cant rate it highly enough. Having had two weeks of being unable to hear out of one ear due to wax build up caused by a cold I was in despair. I asked my GP re syringing who said i needed to wait.So waited during which time used drops and simply could not hear. This arrived and I used it- having put olive oil drops in for a few days. I used boiled water cooled to warm temperature and applied it gently into the ear as i got more confident I pushed the water through faster and it felt fine. it took a few goes (at least five or six) for anything to start dislodging so do bear with it. However there was a sudden feeling of movement in the ear and then in the sink was a huge clump of wax. And on raising my head my hearing was starting to clear- it was so good to hear again! I then did a couple more goes and did the other ear for good measure. There was an initial feeling and sound of water in the ear but once this had dried (after ten mins or less ) my hearing was back to normal. Now I will use this every now and then to keep on top of wax and possibly pre-flying just to keep the wax level normal. Honestly i think its the best £5.00 I've ever spent!!
