eBay My World: tomt40( 1346)

Hiyer. I'm Mr Tom, registered with ebay since march 2003. I offically retired September 2005. I live in South Yorkshire with my wife. I was a coal miner for the first 3 years of my working life, 10 years in the army,& 23 years with ICI Huddersfield.

I sell mostly Ladies, Kids, and Gentlemans shoes, but I will sell other things.

I buy any thing off ebay, that I need at the time, plus it helps other ebay users.

I have several collections, Whisky minatures, old Poison bottles, British stamps, and a few old beer bottles, but haven't added to any of my collections for quite a while.

My main hobby, at the moment is Ebay, and as been for the past four years. I dont try to make a living at it, as I think that would be very time consuming, I enjoy chatting to my buyers or sellers if they have the time, I have chatted to some very interesting people all over the uk.

I like to read books by Bernard Cornwell, Wilbur Smith

I guess my favourite music is classic FM type, I always listen to that whilst on the pc, and when relaxing.

None really, I dont watch much TV at all, maybe a bit of news.

I prefer Paypal, personal cheques, postal orders, or Bankers draft.

I always try to post using the Royal mails 1st class postal service, but if the item is a bit to heavy then I will post by Royal mails standard parcel service, either way the buyer will be informed. I will post parcels as soon as I can, after payment as been made.

I do not have a return policy, but I will discribe my item as honestly as possible, and if a mistake as been made and the fault is mine I will refund the buyers payment, no problem at all.

Usually through ebay, or email.

I always leave feedback on ebays feedback system, when I know the item as been received, and also to complete the transaction. I dont believe there is ever any need to give each other negative feedback, if people would only keep talking to each other I'm sure all problems could be resolved in a friendly and positive manner.
