I believe it is our responsibility to leave the world a lot better place when we leave. My childhood dream of starting my own forest started to come to fruition in 2004 when we first started planting trees on our farm(my kids are 7th generation here). We currently have about 28,000 trees planted with a goal of about 40,000. Most of my profits either go into buying more merchandise to resell or they go toward more trees. Hopefully 20 years from now, I will be able to walk into my own personal forest knowing that I created this through a LOT of hardwork. I would also like to re-establish a squirrel population here when my trees are big enough to support it. And then hopefully the bluebirds, woodpeckers, fox, turkey and the rest of woodland wildlife inhabit my forest. Hopefully my two young kids will be interested in sustaining my dream. Maybe one day I will discover a easier way to raise money for this, so right now I am trying to accomplish this through EBAY.
