We provide turnkey service to our library and other liquidation partners so they have more time to provide much-needed resources to their patrons. We donate tens of thousands of books each year to non-profit literacy partners who bring books to needy recipients worldwide.

B-Logistics began selling on E-Bay in 2002 in partnership with several major public library systems that needed help managing large volumes of discarded materials. We chose the seller name Universal Athenaeum (depository of books and other materials for learning) to reflect that partnership, and we’re still proud to offer our services to hundreds of public, academic, school and special libraries all over the US and Canada (as well as a few publishers, retailers and wholesalers). By providing turnkey resale and recycling services of discarded books and media, we help libraries manage a difficult logistical challenge, generate positive PR, and earn funds for resources and programming.

The books, CDs and DVDs we list for sale come from many sources, including public, academic and school libraries. We evaluate each item we list, and we strive to sell only items that are in GOOD or better condition; items that we would be happy to receive ourselves. You will notice in many cases that the library’s original ownership markings and other stamps, stickers and such are still in place. If you receive an item that is not in the stated condition, please notify us within 14 days of receiving the shipment so we can work out an acceptable resolution.
