Roku 3500R Streaming Stick (HDMI) - Without Remote Control - Certified Refurbish
18 Feb, 2016
Exactly what I was looking for!
I previously had a Roku stick but it was damaged and had started having trouble staying connected to our WiFi network. Additionally, I was constanly moving it back and forth from our living room to our bedroom. I came online looking for an inexpensive replacement (or two) and was pleasantly surprised to find this great deal! For less than the price of one new Roku Stick, I got two! Because I already had a broken roku stick, I was already in posession of a remote. The only time that we ever use the Roku remote is for setting up a new wifi connection (for example, when we go on vacation we bring a roku and the remote and we can watch all of our shows on the hotel tv. WHen actually using and watching the roku, we always use the phone app; the remote has a very annoying tendency to need to be re-synced every five minutes but the app on your iPhone or Android device does not have the same issue. PLus, on the app you can "name" your different Roku devices (e.g. bedroom, living room, etc) so that you can easily switch between devices whenever you change rooms.
