I am an educator in the public schools system. I have both bachelor's and master's degrees and have nearly 30 years experience in education. In life and on eBay, my favorite motto/philosophy always helps: If all else fails, LOWER your standards!

Favorite movie is Howard Hughes' ANGEL FACE starring Jean Simmons and Robert Mitchum, recently restored to factory fresh DVD. Also, as elusive as the raintree itself is a soon-to-be-released newly-restored print on DVD of the 1957 MGM civil war romance RAINTREE COUNTY. Don't be fooled into buying the Asian bootleg DVD or any inferior prints on VHS. Hold out, like I am, for the remastering of the Camera65 (70mm) original roadshow version on DVD.

Favorite music is the fox trots on Victor, Columbia and Brunswick records dancing away the blues with great abandon prior to Stock Market Crash. Then I enjoy the smoother, more sophisticated renderings offered when hardly no one could afford to buy a record during the Depression years, mainly 1932 and 1933.
