Originally a Book-keeper (manual of course) then a Sales Rep for Pirelli Tyres and also Phillips Appliances..then owned my own Dress Shop..fell down a hole..was off work for ages..lost the hearing and balance in one ear due to air pressure on a flight to Zante in 1995.. still coping..decided to sell things from the loft which I had collected from Boot sales..nice things and was suprised to see everything sell, ran out of things to sell..so started buying to sell and never looked back..then ebay asked me to become a business (which I had to) and make all legal..Now I spend a lot of time buying listing and selling as ebayers do!! many thanks to all my customers , a special thanks to the returning ones who have been with me from the beginning..lovely ladies.. and I believe a few men too.
Payment policy
I would like customers to fill the check-outs as soon as possible after the auction has ended , this enables seller to know which payment method will be taken and helps knowing wether to pack item or not etc.,payment should be made within 7 days of auction ended, I personally think this is long enough however any probs I do hold off payment if the customer gets in touch, sometimes problems arise and we need time to pay, maybe you dont want to lose the item but only get paid next week??? do ask I am very approachable have good feedback and understand most problems..many thanks
Delivery information
I try to be fair with postage and packaging...I weigh the item , of course this is before wrappings, and I know the price, I dont make on the postage and those who know me will know if I am ever ridiculousley out I will pop the money into the parcel..it is usually out pennies and this is either way. more often than not just 10p to 20p, I hate excessive postage theres no need for it.if I dont like it my customers wouldnt either.
Return policy
I do except returns..that does not mean I will take things back willy nilly..if on auction style then I dont have to take anything back..if sold on buy it now then I give 7 days and items must be returned in the same condition as posted out , with all labels intact etc., I have recieved less than a handful of goods back and because they havent fitted and from very nice customers who have since returned and thats what its all about, good customer care.and people not feeling cheated and then they may wish to come back to violet3703
