Light, cheap, with powerful suction -what more do you need in a vacuum?
Had Dysons for years but been disappointed with the slow loss of suction and then the motor burnt out a few months after the 5 yr warranty ran out. Due to the expense and weight wanted something different and this had good reviews.
It is light and by goodness it has the suck, just as easy to empty as a Dyson although the tank doesn't hold as much. The build quality isn't as strong feeling but the main down side is the way that the hose has to be unclipped from the base to be reinserted in the wand. It does only take a few seconds but somehow seems more disruptive than that. Also the hose comes out of the connectors. It is fairly quick and easy to screw it back in and I will get round to putting a dob of glue on it....sometime.
However, for its maneuverability and suction I would thoroughly recommend it plus a 6 yr guarantee. There is one clincher for me, the cost, I paid £80 incl. delivery, a similar Dyson was £260. I feel disloyal not going back to Dyson but this is a truly British machine and after 2 months of use I would not go back.
