Knocking on in years (which for me is anyone over 50), balding, everything seems to be falling apart, except for my honesty and 'straightness'. Have a morbid fetish for all types of fishing tackle, and cannot seem to get enough.

Fishing Tackle, Golf items, stuff that folk have bought me that I hated, didn't have room for, or broke. I have spent 45 years buying fishing tackle, so I am now having to get rid of quite a lot just so I can get near enough the windows to be able to draw the curtains.

Fishing Tackle, so I can replace the bits I have moved, as once the curtains are opened, I find the light hurts my eyes! Fishing Tackle of all types. Masses of it!!! Too much to list. One example a couple of years ago I bought 95 reels from a private collection, to add to the other thousands I already have. I will not buy unless I really want it now, as I simply have run out of room

Fishing Tackle, right through from the big Penn Internationals down to the little brass farty things the French used to make a hundred years ago. Rods, reels, lures, etc, etc. Also anything fishy like plates, ornaments etc, as long as they are not the new crap you get. Fishing books - library now numbers hundreds

Fishing - Big Game, Boat, Shore, Fly, Coarse - in fact all types - no exceptions. Just about tried all of them, and rate them equal as the passion dictates the result being meaningful. A large Blue Marlin can be as hard to catch as a Chub on a winters day!

Any with fishing where the pictures are big enough to see. Horror, especially Stephen King, but any good read will do. Also - the softer, please get me back to my childhood side, still loves the Chronicles of Narnia

Any that play songs about fishing, which means I don't like music. Seriously - all types, don't have a favourite.

Managed to be lucky enough to fish all over the world, and anyone out there who thinks that this is some sort of sit on your arse and do nowt pastime - think again. Hang on to a 600lb Blue Marlin, a 300+ Mako shark or even a 40lb carp and then tell the anglers 'it's all about sitting on the bank side watching your float'

Work bloody hard all week and weekends normally, usually just to be able to afford to buy more tackle. Been with eBay since 2004, seeing it as a way to buy even more tackle. Had more than my share of good experiences, with some really good honest eBayers out there. However, beware, they are not all the same. Only been robbed once, and had people not pay a few times. In my opinion one strike on none payment and get rid of them! EBay would be better without them. Similarly, mess a buyer about at all, and again - bye bye seller. Any eBayer retracting bids should be sanity checked, or get treatment for the nervous twitch that leads to them hitting the buy key, and any bidder lying in order to retract a bid should be booted off eBay instantly, or possibly have this added to the feedback history so it can be seen. Another solution is for eBay to include the number of bid retractions a bidder has made so that sellers can choose whether to block the bidder in the first place.

Will accept most payment methods that are normally convenient for buyers. Will use the same methods, although prefer to pay by Paypal for the limited protection warranted from this. Don't understand the star rating system. How can I pay within 5 seconds of the auction finishing and still not get a perfect score? Will also give unlimited credit to anyone who is able to walk on water.

Even more confused by the star rating. Sell something, confirm everything with the buyer, post the item the next day, charge what the PO charges me, gets the stuff delivered, gets a 'Great eBayer' feedback, yet still only score 95% on postage and communication! Will not overcharge on postage, and will really only charge what I get plus packing, and I don't charge for that if it is recycled stuff.

Don't mind. I describe items exactly as they are, and if the buyer don't want the item following delivery, send it back at their cost as I know the item was what they bid on. I have no issues with mistakes either - we all make them - except the wife!

Through eBay - there are too many others trying to rip you off to leave details on here!

Like the buyers who leave feedback, everybody should be made to. Dislike the buyers who don't - they cannot know how important it is for trust and security. Think Paypal should be the only way to pay, and that eBay should honour all payments and not just the £500 limit. Think that eBay should vett everyone - invade their privacy but therefore make eBay a better place than it already is. Still worry about the fact that some less than honest folk are out there and yet I can't see them, or can't set the local fixers on 'em! Hate the ebayer who retracts a bid as I mention above, but hate even more the ones who then lie about the reason for the retraction. Tell the truth - it feels quite good. Love the fact that I can buy stuff that I don't need just to pee the wife off!

Anyone reading this that has any old fishing gear going, I am still looking for some reels I cannot get hold of in good condition. I have an excellent Fraser Kilian, and want at least two more. Anyone out there? If you see this and are thinking of listing, let me know and I'll have a look.
