Not bad, would be hard to do better. Porridge is better
This is value for money but you get more than value for money by buying Porridge 1, 2, 3 and the Christmas Specials. It is well made, the acting very good and the scripts well written but, at the end of the day, it was allways going to be funnier in Prison than out of Prison. By all means hire or buy it, but don't pay more than about £13.
N.B. If you have watched and enjoyed Porridge, you will probably like Hogan's Heroes, now remastered and out on DVD. There are some samples of it on youtube.
