Fellow eBayers, you might like to know more about us both if you are making a bid on the varied items we have to sell. Jill & I in our 50s, living in Devon on Dartmoor. We lost several relatives in recent years, accounting for the odd collections.

Passionate about reducing waste, recycle or reuse, reduce energy consumption, don't waste water. These are not recent morals, more the way we were brought up. We are not Greenies just trying to be sensible.

Like most eBayers, we started (in 2003) selling our own unwanted goods, and following this success have sold items for non eBay friends. Sometimes we buy things that need a good home and sell them on eBay. It's an interest rather than just a way of making a few quid. I would hate to do a time and motion for profit study on each item, as the time it takes to research, list, package and dispatch each item far outstretches any profit. Above all it's a fascinating experience. And we have met some extremely pleasant people, unfortunately as in any trading portal there are time wasters and non-payers who delight in trying to spoil eBay but thankfully they are few and far between. We try to use recycled packaging whenever possible, this isn't just to save money for me and you but to reduce landfill. My items are always packaged with the utmost care and security to ensure the goods are in good condition on arrival. Unless required we don't send items by recorded delivery, although items over £30.00 are generally covered by enhanced compensation with Royal Mail. We are happy to send items worldwide, I sent an old Amstrad 1970s computer to Germany once, it arrived in good order. Only a small addition to the P&P is made to cover tape etc.
