General
I first fell in love with the beauty of Dichroic Glass when I saw some early modern pieces of Dichroic Jewellery in San Francisco at an artisan street fair. Having spent some years making items in the Tiffany Glass Style and with a working knowledge of Silver Jewellery making under taken in the 1970’s it was a natural progression to make Kiln-Fired Jewellery items which included the beautiful Dichroic Glass. I believe that handmade items are infused with the energy of the maker and all my items are made with that in mind. My Christian name is Brenda and my Tibetan Buddhist name given to me by Lama Chime Rinpoche is Yeshé Khandro (Wisdom Dakini). for more info see www.marpahouse.org.uk I like to think that every single Tile, Tesserae & Cab I make incorporates something of the compassionate enlightened nature that Buddhists aspire too. I enjoy making mosaics with YK Sea Glass and my Dichroic Tiles. I hope you enjoy using the pieces as much as I enjoy making them for you.
