Ystradgynlais Volunteer Centre reg charity (515094) provides volunteers to match with clients needs within the local community. We work with volunteers to assist individuals/groups/ projects to improve local needs, and all funds raised help with this

Started in 1984 to meet the needs of the community, we are based in the Upper Swansea Valley. With our own premises and 1 paid staff to manage the Centre, volunteers are assisting with sales to help raise funds for us. 3 part time staff operate a local branch of the national'tools for self reliance' tool refurbishing project, and a wood recycling store to raise awareness of recycling locally, and some ebay selling is also a reflection of this. We also collect unwanted postage stamps, spectacles, broken jewellery, and other items for recycling with other charitable groups locally. We sell 2nd hand books and some bric a brac as donated to help with raising the funds to continue our work in the area. We assist the community with over 2,500 voluntary hours each year on various opportunities.

Paypal or cheque preferred. Cheques will have to be banked and cleared before we can send the item.
